Hello,
I’m starting this blog as a 33 yr old, with a wife and two kids with a mortgage and a day job. This blog is going to be a record of my efforts to re-educate myself and teach myself a new skill that can be applied professionally. In my case I’m learning the Java language. I’m taking formal classes and working on the side on my own projects to learn and demonstrate knowledge. The reason for this blog is two fold:
- Help others that are in the same position that I am
- Create a public record of my abilities
My thought is that there are a lot of people that are in the same position as I am. So I’m going to put out some ideas and be the human guinea pig to determine some possible methods for learning new skills.
